Wattle and daub is a traditional building technique used extensively in period properties throughout Suffolk and East Anglia. Daub is a composite building material usually used for coating a surface. In this case it is mixed with straw and applied to wattles or laths to form a wall (hence the term Wattle and Daub).
We are passionate about traditional techniques, and our specially trained team has extensive experience in using wattle and daub to restore and renovate period properties, even producing our own high-quality daub in-house.
